Dr. Roger Aeschbacher
Dr. Aeschbacher founded aeschbacher consulting in January 2003 in Basel. Today, aeschbacher consulting is a highly integrated medical writing company offering PR and communication services for the Life Sciences industry. The company combines competences in the Life Sciences, in visual design, as well as in communication.
Dr. Aeschbacher (48) has a PhD. in molecular and cellular biology from the ETH, Zurich. He worked as scientist at the Rockefeller University, New York University, as well as at Ciba (now Novartis). Dr. Aeschbacher has also received a diploma from the world-renowned School of Art and Design in Basel. As medical writer, science writer, and copywriter he writes excellent texts for various formats.

Sara Carino, Graphic Designer
Sara Carino studied New Media with specialisation in graphical design at the University of Westminster in London, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts. She was graphical and communication designer with Romandson in London and with Pixelpark (Schweiz) AG. There she became art director in 2003.
Sara Carino has created several web and design projects in the medical domain such as the division of cardio-thoracic surgery of the University of Basel, the Basel University dental clinics, and the Taskmaster Association of Dental Technology. Sara speaks German, Italian and English.
Dr. Mark Curtis, Illustrator and Editor
Mark Curtis is a native English speaker and an expert in technical documentations and illustrations. Mark received a PhD from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, England. He was employed as a postdoc at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. He has illustrated for Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, as a freelancer for five years. Since 2001 he has been managing several projects at the University of Zurich. Switzerland. He has published over 28 scientific publications and edited technical journals, including the ABB Review. The Arabidopsis Lab Manual and Molecular Cloning: A Laboratory Manual are among the books he has illustrated.
Adrienne Pearson, Design Director
Adrienne has over 17 years of experience in corporate design for print and interactive media. She was primarily responsible for multinational clients at Wirz Identity, Zurich and with her own company Scopo – one of the first Swiss agencies for interactive media. Later, Adrienne was active as Creative Director with Pixelpark and, during the last six years, as Design Director with MetaDesign. She is now running her own business again.
Adrienne Pearson holds a BFA in painting. She learned typography and graphic design at the Basel School of Design in Switzerland, where she later taught interactive media. She is currently working towards a further degree in way-finding systems.
Having grown up in the Middle East, the US, and Southeast Asia, Adrienne brings a profound knowledge of Swiss, American, and asian culture to her work.
Magnus Kahlweiss, Digital Video Production
Magnus ist a specialist for the production of digital videos. Based on his education in marketing, journalism and visual design, he completed the "Videofachklasse" at the "Schule für Gestaltung Basel". He continued his education at the Swiss TV with an education in dramaturgy.
Magnus was a project leader of digital video productions in a medium-sized enterprise in North-Western-Switzerland for more than 10 years. Videos produced include videos on complex assembly and production processes in the area of measurement technology. Magnus has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and visual communication.
